JLC Admission Criteria

JLC students are University of the Ozarks students who have a diagnosed learning disability or AD/HD and are also able to pursue challenging college coursework in a uniquely supportive environment. Each application for admission to Ozarks and to JLC is reviewed individually. We recognize the value of individual strengths and acknowledge that these strengths are not always captured in a single test score or in a student's college or high school grade point average. Applying to JLC

1. Submit the application for admission online using this link Apply Online for Admission.
2. Submit the most recently completed comprehensive psycho-educational evaluation. To make an admission decision, we prefer an evaluation completed within the last three years.
3. Based on an initial review of your application and available testing, you may be invited to visit campus for an interview.  If your psychoeducational evaluation is not current or comprehensive, you may choose to schedule testing to update your documentation at this time for an additional fee. 

Supplemental Forms for Jones Learning Center Applicants

When your JLC interview is scheduled, we will request any other supplemental materials which may be needed to complete your application.
