Distribution Requirements
Distribution courses provide you with exposure to a range of disciplinary methodologies and content aimed at helping you develop the breadth of understanding characteristic of a person educated in the liberal arts.
Although you are required to complete a specific number of hours in each distribution area, the variety of courses gives you and your advisor flexibility to customize your educational program.
You will be required to complete distribution requirements in the areas listed below.

- Social Science and Social Analysis
- Natural Science and Mathematics
- Global Awareness
Courses listed under each distribution area are updated from time to time by the General Education Oversight Committee, so always consult the office of the Registrar if you have questions about a specific course.
