Checklist for General Admission***

To apply for admission:

  1. Fill out the appropriate application form
  2. Have official transcript(s) sent to our Admission office
  3. Have your ACT or SAT scores sent to our Admission office
  4. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) after January 1 of the year you plan to enroll

After you've been admitted:

  1. Pay your $100 admission deposit**
    • Send a check by mail to the address below, or call our Business Office at 479-979-1216 to make your payment by credit or debit card. Your deposit is refundable until May 1 if you make a request in writing.
  2. Apply for Campus Housing and pay your $100 housing deposit**
    • Online Housing Application Form
    • Send a check by mail to the address below, or call our Business Office at 479-979-1216 to make your payment by credit or debit card. Your deposit is refundable until May 1 of you make a request in writing.
  3. Send your immunization records
  4. Send in a completed health history record
  5. Pre-register for classes
    • Call 1-800-264-8636 or 479-979-1227 to schedule your pre-registration appointment after April 1.
  6. Register for new student orientation (fall semester only)

**Your $100 admission deposit will be applied to your first semester's expenses. The $100 housing deposit will be refunded to you when you leave Ozarks, provided you aren't charged for damages to your room or its contents.

*** If you're applying to Ozarks' International Studies program, or if you're also applying for admission to the university's Jones Learning Center, your "Admission Checklist" will contain some additional steps.
