University of the Ozarks is an ideal place for the true student-athlete.

As a member of the NCAA, we take both our athletics and our academics seriously. Ozarks is proud to be a member of the American Southwest Conference competing with teams from Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.  Our sports teams strive to win and thrive on the challenge of competition. We work hard to succeed -- on the playing field and in the classroom -- and we have fun doing it.

Over 25 percent of students at Ozarks compete in inter-collegiate athletics, including many who play multiple sports. Ozarks believes athletics represent an important part of the total educational experience and play a role in the university's mission of guiding the intellectual, spiritual, social and physical development of each student. Our student athletes participate in a variety of other clubs and organizations on campus ranging from student government, residential life and academic groups.
