Presbyterian Scholarships
If you're the son or daughter of a Presbyterian minister or if you're an active youth member of a Presbyterian church, you are eligible to apply for a Presbyterian scholarship.
Scholarships for dependent children of Presbyterian ministers
If you're the son or daughter of a Presbyterian minister within the Synod of the Sun and you have a 3.00 cumulative GPA, you can receive an amount equivalent to half the cost of your tuition. This scholarship is renewable for up to four years. A letter from the Clerk of the Session is required as verification of your parent's employment.
- Award Amount: Up to half the cost of tuition
- Renewable: For up to four years
- Conditions for renewal: Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Deadline to apply: Priority deadline is March 1
Scholarships for Presbyterian youth
Other Presbyterian students who are admitted to the University can receive $1,500 per year for up to four years. You must provide a letter of recommendation from your pastor, youth leader, or church elder. Please note that if you have been awarded the National Presbyterian Scholarship (which totals $1,400), then this award would be $100, bringing the total award amount to $1,500.
