King Residence Hall houses 150 male and female first-year students. Named after Dr. and Mrs. W. Ernest King and Dr. and Mrs. Robert King, the residence hall was built in the summer of 1971 and renovated in the summer of 1999.
- All rooms are double occupancy (Single rooms are sometimes available upon request).
- All rooms have Internet access, basic cable hookups and telephone connections.
- Room dimensions are 12'3" x 14'6" (Rooms are not carpeted).
- Windows are 36" x 45" (Rooms are supplied with mini-blinds).
- Rooms feature moveable furniture: Study desk and chair, book shelf, dresser and twin beds (Beds may be lofted or bunked).
Common areas include:
- Formal community lounge with balcony.
- Basement recreation room with a big-screen television, pool table, patio and study room.
- Full-size kitchen, including microwave and refrigerator.
Other features:
- Bathrooms on each floor, with bathtubs.
- Coin-operated laundry facilities on each wing.
