Smith Residence Hall, named after Harriet T. Smith, houses up to 82 female first-year and upperclass students. The residence hall was built in 1964 and renovated in 2000.
- All rooms are double occupancy, with a few rooms suite-style (Two connected rooms).
- Room dimensions are 12'6" x 14'6". (Rooms are not carpeted).
- Window dimensions are 36" x 45" (Rooms are supplied with mini-blinds).
- All rooms have Internet access, basic cable hookup and telephone connections.
- Rooms feature moveable furniture: Study desk and chair, book shelf, dresser and twin beds (Beds may be lofted or bunked).
Common areas include:
- Formal lounge with a television and study area.
- Full-size kitchen, including microwave and refrigerator.
Other features:
- Bathrooms on each floor, with bathtub rooms on first floor.
- Coin-operated laundry facilities on first floor.
