Campus Security

The Ozarks' Student Life staff takes your security very seriously. Outside doors to the residence halls are locked outside of normal visiting hours. Doors to other campus facilities are locked unless a special event is taking place in that building -- after the event is over, campus security personnel secure the building. The doors to the residence halls and all other campus buildings are checked throughout the night by security personnel to ensure that they have not been propped open or left unlocked.

Campus Security personnel patrol the campus seven days a week on this schedule:

Weekly 8:00 am - 7:00 am
Saturday 7:00 am - Sunday 7:00 am
Sunday 7:00 am - Monday 7:00 am

The Student Life staff is also on call 24 hours a day to help with any safety or security issues. From on campus, dial 9-979-4977, or (479) 979-4977 from off-campus.

Students' Right to Know and Campus Security Act

Under the federal law known as the Clery Act, schools must publish an annual report disclosing campus security policies and three years worth of selected crime statistics. Ozarks reports these statistics for the past three years:
