Academic Clubs and Honor Societies:
Alpha Chi: Alpha Chi is a national honor society that honors students who have acheived academic excellence and exemplary character. Members must be in the top 10 percent academically of the junior and senior class, and are chosen by faculty.
Phi Alpha Theta: Phi Alpha Theta is an international honor society which promotes the study of history. The Ozarks chapter of Phi Alpha Theta has sponsored discussions and symposia on a variety of historical topics, and encourages research and publication in history. Kappa Delta Pi: Kappa Delta Pi is an international honor society in education. Members undertake projects, including fundraising and activities on both the Ozarks campus and local public schools. Ozarks Biological Society: Ozarks Biological Society provides a connection for all Ozarks students studying biology, as well as with the worldwide biology community. The society sponsors numerous discussions and presentations, including opportunities for students to share the results of their own research. Ozarks Student Education Association: Ozarks Student Education Association (OSEA) is a support organization for education majors and students interested in studying education. OSEA is affiliated with the Arkansas Education Association, which provides insurance for any student who decides to pursue a career in teaching. Phi Beta Lambda (Future Business Leaders) and Students in Free Enterprise: Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) and Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) are organizations for students interested in studying business. Both groups have active schedules of activities, including conferences, meeting with business leaders and competitions in which students demonstrate their skills in various business areas.
